Cyclone Poodle (Standard) Young Male in Springfield, Missouri

My story
Cyclone is the BEST dog! He loves to snuggle, loves to run and play fetch, is beginning to gain confidence on walks and gets along with dogs and cats. What more could you want??? More than anything Cyclone just wants someone he can follow around all day. He doesn’t love the crate but tolerates it ok. He cannot be left out of the crate unsupervised because he enjoys chewing things. At night Cyclone sleeps in a dog bed beside his foster family's bed and sleeps through the night, patiently waiting until I wake up.Cyclone has had some reactive growling and barking toward a young child, so we are recommending a home with no children under the age of 12. HOWEVER, he has also done well when visiting another home with a toddler in the home. He has never bitten and has never shown ANY other aggression. Cyclone is eager to please and easy to guide. He would do well in a home with a single person or couple and may do well with children who are confident around dogs.Cyclone had 3 seizures within two days after arriving at rescue but since going on medication he has not had any more seizures. His medication costs about $30/month, and he will need liver screening approximately every 6 months due to the medication he is currently on. Other medication options can be explored as well.Despite his seizure history, this boy lives a completely normal life and has so much love to give! (And his coat is really soft!)
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cyclone, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
